Preparations are now being arranged for the 2008/2009 season. Any player interested in joining us next season needs to fill in the application form. simple click on the gold badge on the left and complete the on line form. You will then receive details of the trials once they have been confirmed. The club is also looking for managers at all age groups, from Under 18's to Under 6's. Again any interested coaches or managers can fill in the on line form.
Where else locally do you have the chance to be involved with a Development Standard club, that is playing in the FA Youth Cup and competing in the Junior Premier League, where it's players get the chance to play regularly in a fantastic stadium also where the club has proved it's commitment to the youth by recently selecting 3 youth players to play in a friendly for the first team including our Under 15's goalkeeper.

Penalty Shoot out

Grantham Under 15's entered two teams in the St Marys tournament at Wisbech, this is one of the biggest tournament in the area, which attracts teams from East Anglia and Cambrigeshire.

Grantham's A team win their group in easy fashion, in their 6 games the scored 21 Goals without conceding. They lost 2-1 in the quater final to Deacons dispite having 80% of the play.

Grantham's B team struggle with consistency in their group stage but finished joint top on goal difference. The cruised through the quarter finals then beat the A teams opponents Deacons in the semi final comfortable winning 3-0. They face Netherfield in the final and found themselves 2-0 before two brilliant goals from Adam Kwiatkowski. The game when through extra time then to penalties, Adam Kwiatkowski scoring the wining penalty. Grantham B winning 9-8 on penalties.
