Lowlands 7 - 2 Grantham Town
Grantham's unbeaten run came to a shuddering halt, as they conceding seven at Lowlands. It was business as usual for the opening 10 minutes as Grantham passed the ball and contained the hosts, but without really threatening. This, though changed as Lowlands stepped up a gear and scored their first as a corner was turned in. The Gingerbreads responded, Daniel Moulds had a long range effort cleared off the line before Euan Dolby smashed the equaliser with a great volley. The home side continued to be first to every ball and got their reward with two goals before half-time and one just after. Alex Dempster scored after a great Will Barron cross to reduce the deficit, but a long range effort and two more late goals put paid to any chance of a revival. This was one of those days where the home team hit form and the visitors were out of sorts. Grantham's Man of the Match was Joshua Kelham who put in a solid performance and carried on trying to do the right thing.
