Grantham Town 4 - 1 Fishtoft
Grantham got back to winning ways after rediscovering their passing game. The home side were keen to put on a good performance, putting together some good flowing moves on a difficult pitch. The Gingerbreads opened the scoring when a good move and fine cross from Will Barron found Josh Kelham at the far post who made no mistake. Grantham increased their advantage when Euan Dolby put in Alex Dempster for his 31st of the season. Number 32 soon followed when Daniel Moulds found him with a pass and still with work to do he made no mistake. Joseph Hoskins was solid, standing-in in goal and did well to smother when the post was struck with attackers ready to pounce. The second half saw a more subdued Grantham side knowing that they had probably done enough, this was confirmed when another excellent Will Barron corner was unluckily turned in by an under pressure defender. Visitors Fishtoft grabbed a consolation but Grantham were always in control. This was a much better team performance and therefore the Man of the Match award went to the whole team.
